Steward Health Care Announces Luis Allende Ruiz as New President of Hialeah Hospital

July 1, 2022 – Steward Health Care is pleased to announce a new addition to the Steward Health Care executive team - Luis Allende Ruiz has been named the new President of Hialeah Hospital.

Luis comes to Hialeah Hospital with over a decade’s worth of experience in the healthcare industry, having led prominent hospitals and medical centers across Florida and Puerto Rico. Prior to Steward, he was Chief Executive Officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Miami, where he successfully led hospital operations through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Luis is a proven leader in our community, with a strong foundation in Steward values and a deep compassion for Florida families.
